My name is Cheryl, and for over two decades, I've had the privilege of working as a dedicated veterinary nurse. This deep understanding of animal health, behaviour, and welfare forms the foundational care I provide.

The idea for Wishbone Weddings was born from a deeply personal experience: my own wedding day. My husband and I desperately wanted our beloved dog, Peggy, to be a part of our celebration. Yet, like many couples, we faced a dilemma – everyone we trusted to look after her was already a guest! In the end, Peggy did join us, and watching her excitedly run around the grounds with her little flower bow ribbon, greeting us with such joy, was one of the most beautiful and unforgettable moments of our day. It solidified for us just how much our furry family members truly belong in these cherished memories.

Inspired by this experience, and while assisting my husband as a second shooter for his wedding photography business, I saw countless couples grappling with the same challenge we had faced. It was then that I realised I could combine my two passions and unique skills: my 20+ years as a qualified veterinary nurse ensuring the utmost care and well-being of animals, with my deep understanding of the magic of special occasions and the nuances of a busy wedding day from both a pet's perspective and a logistic one.
