The Ultimate Wishbone Wedding Adventure
For my Wishbone Sun and Moon packages, I love taking the dogs on the iconic loop from ‘The Station’ out towards the ruins of Easby Abbey. It is quite simply a dogs paradise and features:
The Ruins: The atmospheric Abby walls provide a breathtaking (and very photogenic!) backdrop for some natural story telling shots. This is mid way point of the loop so nice to have some refreshments (water and treats).
River & Woods: Plenty of opportunities for a paddle in the Swale and some shaded woodland paths for those curious noses.
Open Fields: Large stretches of greenery for a proper stretch of the legs before the "I dos" begin.
A Dog-Freindly Refreshment Stop: The Station itself is a fantastic start and end point. It’s good for a little explore and I have been known to buy some doggy ice cream for the pups.
Including a walk like this ensures that by the time I bring your dog back to Middleton Lodge for photos and the drinks reception, they are calm, content, and ready to celebrate with you.
